The monograph examines the main stages of the ethnic history of the Chechens, the interrelation of ethnopolitical, ethnodemographic and ethnocultural changes at the turn of the XX—XXI centuries. Data on the development of the main branches of the economy — agriculture, cattle breeding, handicrafts and crafts, hunting and fishing are presented: material and spiritual culture is described — housing, food, clothing, utensils, weapons, metrology, calendar rituals, religious beliefs, folklore. Information is presented on the socionormative sphere — family and social life, etiquette norms, social institutions, the development of science, art, and sports.
Design:The whole leather binding is handmade, decorated with gold and pancake embossing. The spine is decorated with bandages. The text of the book is printed on Austrian-made Palatina Avorio 100 paper and supplemented with color illustrations. The sawn-off is decorated in the technique of "Peacock Feather". A lace made of silk ribbon. The flyleaf is made of solid designer paper. The color combination of the binding and packaging may differ from those shown in the photo.
